As with our mouldings, we also stock a large selection of matboard all from our local suppliers. This is a thin, flat piece of paper-based material included within a picture frame, which serves as additional decoration also separates the art from the glass.
Our range of white core matting is acid free. Although this is not full conservation grade, the product offers an economical alternative with a large range of colours and finishes.
Conservation matboard is also available on request.
We offer matboard cutting of up to four matboard layers and a V groove cut (which adds a visual depth to a framed picture).
Matboard is often viewed as an afterthought, but we believe quality matboard makes a framing service, and are able to offer matboard cutting up to 4 matboard layers and the V-groove cut as well. As wit every aspect of our service, the quality, attention to detail and finish are second to none.
